Willing to bet this has something to do with either:
- SCREAMINGError, and the fact that the game threw a sprite error every time I tried to select them-- they also changed sexes a couple of times over the course of their life
... or...
- The agent I was testing that tinted a random agent every tick. (This is not a good idea.)
Oh well. Wish I knew which, so I could avoid it in the future. Back to... something.
